Registration Process

Register Online

The Program Director of each accredited AEGD, GPR, OMS, ORTHO, PED, PERIO, PROS and ANES residency is sent an e-mail with a personalized link and instructions to register their residency for the 2018 Match.

The registration process should be completed by the Program Director and can be started by clicking on the personalized link in the e-mail sent by NMS.

If you have not received your personalized e-mail to register for the Match by May 15, 2017 please contact NMS.

Fees

The fees to register for the Match are:

  • $75 USD registration fee for each program registered for the Match by the residency
  • $60 USD for the 1st position offered in each program
  • $45 USD per position for the 2nd through 6th positions offered in each program
  • $35 USD per position for the 7th and subsequent positions offered in each program

Fees can be paid online at the time of registration using a credit card, or you can complete the registration process online without payment, and pay the registration fees by check or by phoning NMS with credit card information at a later date.

Confirmation

Once the online registration process is complete, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. The confirmation will include the Code Number(s) and program description(s) for each program registered for the Match. You should provide the program Code Number(s) to each of your applicants as the Code Number(s) uniquely identify your program(s) in the Match. This is particularly relevant for residencies that are offering more than one program in the Match.

Updating Your Residency and Program Information

Once your residency is registered to participate in the Match, you can log in to the NMS Match System to update your residency or program information. This includes modifying the number of positions offered by a program in the Match, adding an additional program to your residency, withdrawing a program from the Match if you no longer intend to offer any positions in the program, or modifying your contact information.
