It is the responsibility of the Director of Clinical Training (DCT) of each APPIC Associate program to ensure the eligibility of students registered to participate in the Match, and the accuracy of the information provided to the Match by students from his/her academic program. APPIC Associate programs should review the instructions on this page before accessing the list of registered students from their academic program for the first time.

Instructions
This list displays students who have registered to participate in the Match and who have indicated that they are from your academic program. This list is updated every night, to reflect students who have recently registered for the Match or who have updated their information. Students may register for the Match until the deadline date for submission of Rank Order Lists for Phase I of the Match (February 8, 2012). Students will not be able to register to participate in either Phase of the Match after February 8, 2012.
The list shows the academic program type and degree provided by each student (students must select one of the following four program types: clinical, counseling, school, combined professional-scientific, and one of three degrees: Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D.). The accuracy of this information is important as it is used for statistical purposes. However, it will not be provided by NMS to any internship sites, and it will not be used in the matching process; therefore, it will not have any impact on the results achieved by the student in the Match.
Students who registered to participate in the Match but who have subsequently withdrawn are included in the list of registered students, but are shown in the list as "currently withdrawn". Please note that withdrawn students can change their status and decide to participate in the Match at any time until the Rank Order List deadline for each Phase of the Match. If you have any question concerning the status of a student in the Match, you should contact the student directly.
If any information shown in the list for your academic program is incorrect, such as a student who is not from your academic program, a student who is missing from the list, or a student whose program type or degree is wrong, please follow the instructions below to make corrections. In many cases, students should be instructed to make corrections themselves, using the online system on this web site. You can then verify the necessary correction has been made by viewing an updated list of students from your program on this web site. In some cases, as indicated below, you should also notify NMS in writing of changes required by printing the list, marking the necessary changes on the printout, and sending the corrected information to NMS either by fax or as a scanned e-mail attachment. For information on contacting NMS, click here. If no corrections to the list are required, you do not need to contact NMS to confirm that the list is correct.
Making Corrections
Student not from your academic program: Cross the student off the list, indicate "NOT AT THIS PROGRAM", write in any information you have to help identify the correct academic program (e.g., school or university, program type, DCT, etc.), and send the corrected list to NMS as soon as possible, either by fax or as a scanned e-mail attachment. In addition, if you know and can contact the student, you should instruct the student to correct the academic program information in the online system on this web site.
Student from your academic program who will not be eligible for the Match: Contact the student directly and ensure that the student withdraws from the Match in the online system on this web site. Students must withdraw themselves from the Match; do not cross off the student from the list or contact NMS to request that a student be withdrawn. You can verify that the student has withdrawn by re-checking the status of the student in this online list. Please note, however, that students can change their withdrawn status for each Phase of the Match at any time until the Rank Order List deadline for that Phase of the Match (Phase I - February 8, Phase II - March 19). Therefore, if any registered student from your program is not eligible to participate in the Match, it is particularly important that you check the status of the student again in the online list of students on February 9, 2012 and March 20, 2012 (i.e., after the Rank Order List deadline for each Phase of the Match) to verify that the ineligible student is withdrawn from the Match. You should notify NMS of ineligible students only if the student is still active after the Rank Order List deadline.
Incorrect academic program type and/or degree: Mark the correction on the list and send it to NMS. In addition, contact the student directly and instruct the student to correct the information in the online system on this web site.
Student missing from list: The student either has not correctly identified your program as his/her academic program, or has not yet registered for the Match. In either case, you should contact the student directly to resolve the matter:
