Match result information will be available on this web site beginning at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the APPIC Match Day for each Phase of the Match: FEBRUARY 24, 2012 for Phase I and MARCH 26, 2012 for Phase II. For each Phase of the Match, applicants will be told whether or not they have been matched to a position, and matched applicants will be told the specific internship program to which the applicant is matched. In addition, academic programs that are APPIC Doctoral Program Associates will be able to access a list of the results for their students, indicating where each student has matched. At the same time, training sites that participated in each Phase of the Match will be told which applicant(s) matched to their site, and whether or not the site has any unfilled positions. Training sites will also be informed of the Match result obtained by each applicant ranked by the site for that Phase of the Match.

Access to Match result information on this web site will be restricted to applicants and training sites registered to participate in the Match, and to academic programs that are APPIC Doctoral Program Associates. Those who are eligible to access the Match results should consult the instructions provided to them by NMS in December 2011 for information on the codes and passwords needed to access this information on this web site.

Match result information will also be sent by e-mail before 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the APPIC Match Day for each Phase of the Match: FEBRUARY 24, 2012 for Phase I and MARCH 26, 2012 for Phase II. For each Phase of the Match, results will be sent by e-mail to applicants and training sites that participated in that Phase of the Match (i.e., submitted and certified a Rank Order List with at least one active choice, and did not withdraw from that Phase of the Match). Similarly, the results provided to APPIC Associates for each Phase of the Match will also be sent by e-mail.

The same Match result information will be provided by e-mail and on this web site for each Phase of the Match. Any applicant, training site or APPIC Associate that does not receive their result by e-mail should access their result from this web site.

Information on Positions Available After Each Phase of the Match

Phase I: Beginning at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time on February 24, 2012 a list of programs with unfilled positions in Phase I of the Match will be posted on this web site. This list of programs with unfilled positions in Phase I will not be updated after the initial release of the Phase I Match results, and will be removed from the web site following the deadline for submitting Rank Order Lists for Phase II of the Match. Positions left unfilled in Phase I will be offered to applicants in Phase II. Additional positions that become available at sites registered for the Match may also be offered in Phase II; information on these positions will be provided via a late-breaking news service sponsored by APPIC.

Phase II: No list of programs with unfilled positions will be provided on this web site following Phase II of the Match. However, starting on March 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time, APPIC will operate a Post-Match Vacancy Service that will provide information on available positions. Training sites that will be eligible to post information about available positions to the Post-Match Vacancy Service include APPIC-member sites, non-member sites that registered for the Match, and other non-member sites that did not register for the Match but paid a Vacancy Service fee to APPIC. Instructions for using the APPIC Post-Match Vacancy Service will be provided on the APPIC web site at http://www.appic.org.
