Listing of Programs

This online Listing of Programs shows the psychology internship programs that are participating in the APPIC Internship Matching Program (the "Match") for positions beginning in 2010. This Listing is updated regularly, whenever information about programs participating in the Match changes. Applicants are encouraged to consult this online Listing of Programs for the most current information on program offerings and Code Numbers prior to finalizing their Rank Order Lists for the Match.

Programs are listed alphabetically by state and city within state, and then alphabetically by the name of the training site within city. Programs in Canada are shown at the end of the Listing. To view the Listing of Programs participating in the Match CLICK HERE.

Some internship sites participating in the Match are neither APPIC members nor APA/CPA-accredited. The APPIC membership status of each training site is shown in the Listing. For sites that are APPIC members, the "Yes" indicating the site's membership status provides a direct link to the listing for the site in the APPIC Directory.

In addition, each site's accreditation status with the American Psychological Association (APA) and Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) are shown in the Listing. Please note: the information on accreditation status shown in the Listing has been provided to NMS by each site, and is not guaranteed to be accurate by NMS or APPIC. Additional or updated accreditation status information for any program can be obtained directly from the APA web site and/or the CPA web site.

Note: The APA will no longer accredit programs in Canada after September 1, 2015. Canadian programs that are currently APA-accredited may apply to renew their APA accreditation through that date, or they may choose to discontinue APA accreditation earlier. The APA no longer accepts applications for accreditation from Canadian programs that are not currently APA-accredited. If you have questions about the APA accreditation status of a particular Canadian program, please contact APA and/or the program directly.

Applicants participating in the Match must use the 6-digit program Code Numbers shown in this Listing to identify each program when submitting their Rank Order Lists. Only programs that are participating in the Match can be included on an applicant's Rank Order List. If an applicant wishes to rank a program that does not appear in this Listing, the applicant should contact the site's Training Director to determine if the program is participating in the Match, and to obtain the Code Number for the program to be used on the applicant's Rank Order List.

A brief description of each program is shown in the Listing, based on information provided by the Training Director. This information is included to assist the applicant in identifying each program, to ensure he or she uses the proper Code Number for the program on the applicant's Rank Order List submitted for the Match. This is particularly relevant where a site is offering more than one program. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the applicant's Rank Order List submitted for the Match includes the correct Code Number for each program ranked by the applicant.

To obtain further information on any program in this Listing, or to clarify which Code Number to use for any program on an applicant's Rank Order List, the applicant should contact the site's Training Director directly.
