Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program
The Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program places applicants into positions for the first year of training in the following types of postdoctoral dental education programs:
- Advanced Education in General Dentistry
- General Practice Residency
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Orthodontics
- Pediatric Dentistry
- Dental Anesthesiology
NMS provides Turnkey Match Administration for the Match on behalf of six sponsoring organizations representing the profession. NMS developed a detailed program design prior to initiating a new Match in 1985. NMS now administers two Matches annually for postdoctoral education positions, and has integrated applicant registration with the American Dental Education Association's central application service.
