Schedule of Dates

For the APPCN Resident Matching Program (the "Match") to function successfully, all participants must adhere to the complete Schedule of Dates below:

SEPTEMBER, 2009: Residency Program Agreements for participation in the Match are sent to program directors, who must return their Agreements to National Matching Services Inc.
SEPTEMBER, 2009 – JANUARY, 2010: Beginning in September, applicants can register for the APPCN Match online via this web site.; Applicants must contact and apply to programs independently of the Match. Application deadlines for programs vary; therefore, applicants should check with programs regarding their deadline dates.
NOVEMBER 27, 2009: By this date, a Listing of Programs participating in the Match will be available for access on this web site.
JANUARY 8, 2010: Recommended date by which applicants should register for the Match.
JANUARY 29, 2010: By this date, instructions for submitting Rank Order Lists and obtaining Match results will be available to applicants and program directors registered to participate in the Match.
FEBRUARY 26, 2010: Final date for submission of applicant and program Rank Order Lists. No Rank Order Lists or registrations can be accepted after this date.
MARCH 8, 2010: Results of the Match are released to applicants and program directors. No action to fill positions remaining unfilled is to be taken prior to 12 noon Eastern Time on this date.; Program directors must send letters of confirmation of the Match result to matched applicants, according to APPCN Match Policies.
