Listing of Programs

This online Listing of Programs shows the internship and residency programs that are participating in the AOA Intern/Resident Registration Program (the "Match") for OGME-1 positions beginning in 2010. This Listing is updated regularly, whenever information about programs participating in the Match changes. Applicants are encouraged to consult this online Listing of Programs for the most current information on program offerings and Code Numbers prior to finalizing their Rank Order Lists for the Match.

Each program is listed under the institution that is accredited to offer the training. Institutions are listed alphabetically by state and city within state, and then alphabetically by institution name within city. For some Option 2 specialty programs, the OGME-1 preliminary year training takes place at a different institution than the OGME-2 specialty residency training. In these cases, the program is listed under the institution that offers the OGME-2 specialty residency training, and the institution that provides the OGME-1 training is identified as part of the description of the program.

Applicants participating in the Match must use the 5-digit Code Numbers shown in this Listing to identify each program when submitting their Rank Order Lists. Please note that these 5-digit Code Numbers identifying each program are different from the code numbers shown in the online AOA Opportunities database or in the ERAS system. The code numbers from the online AOA Opportunities database or from the ERAS system should not be used on the Rank Order List submitted for the Match.

Only programs that are participating in the Match can be included on an applicant's Rank Order List. If an applicant wishes to rank a program that does not appear in this Listing, the applicant should contact the institution's Director of Medical Education to determine if the program is participating in the Match, and to obtain the Code Number for the program to be used on the applicant's Rank Order List.

The program description provided for each program indicates the program type, to assist the applicant in identifying each program and to ensure he or she uses the proper Code Number for the program on the applicant's Rank Order List submitted for the Match. This is particularly relevant where an institution is offering more than one program. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that the applicant's Rank Order List submitted for the Match includes the correct Code Number for each program ranked by the applicant.

To obtain further information on any program in this Listing, or to clarify which Code Number to use for any program on an applicant's Rank Order List, the applicant should contact the institution's Director of Medical Education directly.
